Highlights from Week Eight

Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and home of the Duke of Marborough

The Peace Column

Had to take a picture of the cannon

Pheasants were all over the place.

The little temple in the garden where Churchill proposed to his wife.

The Water Gardens

Ed chasing one of the sheep near the column.
Prior Park in Bath.  The home of Ralph Allen who owned the quarry where Bath Stone was mined.

The Summer home there.

The idea of the home was to look out over all of Bath, as seen in this photo.

Looking back on the house.

The Palladian Bridge on the property.

Thought mom and grandma would get a kick out of this.  A truck full of bingo daubers.

The old turnstiles at the old Recreation Cricket Grounds, Bath.
